A colloquial term for 'herpes zoster' or 'shingles', a painful skin rash with blisters. Also, in some regions, it is used to refer to a small snake or a problematic person.

Examples

  • English: 1. My grandmother has shingles and is taking medication for it. 2. That boy is a little snake, he's always causing trouble.
